If you want something different, some comedy with
spice, then Mark Britten--”Chinaman”--is the way to
go. His impressions are legendary: Musically, from Matchbox 20’s
Rob Thomas to Aerosmith’s Steven Tyler, Mark’s act grabs
you right from the get go and doesn’t let you out of his hilarious
grip ‘til he’s done at least 45 minutes of laugh-ab
workout. The Austin Chronicle described Britten as a "a rock
star trapped in a comic’s body." You also may know The
Chinaman from his multiple visits on “The Bob & Tom”
nationally-syndicated radio show--they love the Arnold Schwarzenegger
impersonations! Among his other impressions that are crowd favorites
are Dave Matthews, Garth Brooks, Eddie Vedder and the B-52s. He
also voices seven characters of “Dragonballz” on the
Cartoon Network, and has released a comedy CD, entitled “Dis-Oriented
Chinaman.” And his act is hardly just confined to voices and
music. He also weaves in material mocking his Chinese heritage and
other observations, including such probing questions as “If
a vegetarian bites his lip, does he feel guilty?”
